Here, he has chosen some of the best pictures from his collection – and told us some of the remarkable stories behind them.
‘The Rolling Stones were filming a video in Paris when I met them to take this shot in 1983. Keith Richards was trying to make the boys laugh by pretending to flash at them. He wasn’t really undressed; he was just joshing around and brandishing a bull-whip. There is always wonderful interplay between the band – Richards and Ronnie Woods in particular have great chemistry off stage. But if you’re slow in taking the shot they get bored and switch off.’
